Rabat – Cameroon face Zimbabwe today in Yaoundé for the final game in AFCON 2025 qualifiers. Both teams have already booked their ticket to Morocco. Now, it’s all about pride and a first place in Group J is on the line.

Kick-off is at 2 p.m. Moroccan time at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium. Fans can catch the action live on beIN Sports 1 Arabic, and BeIN Sports France.

The Lions lead the group with 11 points. Zimbabwe trail by two. A draw will keep Cameroon on top. So Zimbabwe need a win to leapfrog their rivals.

Cameroon are unbeaten in this campaign. Three wins and two draws have kept them ahead. And They’ve also been perfect at home, beating Namibia 1-0 and Kenya 4-1. For today’s game, they’ll be without star defender Michael Ngadeu, who’s suspended.

Zimbabwe, however, will be no pushovers. They’ve made a strong comeback after a tough period. Political interference kept them out of football for 18 months. Now, they’ve already booked a spot at the 2025 competition in Morocco after their 1-1 draw with Kenya last week sealed it.

These two teams faced three times before, with Cameroon winning once and drawing twice. They have also scored two goals in total while conceding only one to Zimbabwe. The last time these teams met, it ended 0-0.

Predicted Lineup

Cameroon: Simon Ngapandouetnbu; Jackon Tchatchoua, Guy-Marcelin Kilama, Christopher Wooh, Nouhou Tolo; Martin Hongla, Georges-Kevin N’Koudou, Yvan Neyou Noupa, Frank Magri, Patrick Soko; Vincent Aboubakar

Zimbabwe: Washington Arubi; Munashe Garananga, John Takwara, Teenage Lingani Hadebe, Jordan Zemura; Andy Rinomhota, Marvelous Nakamba; Tawanda Maswanhise, Marshall Munetsi, Walter Musona; Khama Billiat

Predicted Score

Cameroon 1-0 Zimbabwe

Cameroon will look to captain Vincent Aboubakar for goals this time. Zimbabwe will hope to spoil the party in Yaoundé. So will Cameroon stay top, or can Zimbabwe steal the spotlight?
