King Mohammed VI of Morocco

Rabat – King Mohammed VI has exchanged New Year greetings with several world leaders, expressing his warm congratulations and sincere wishes.

The King received New Year’s messages from different world leaders and high-ranking international personalities, who extended their hopes for further progress and prosperity for the North African country.

These greetings came  from the UAE, Jordan,  Oman, Belgium, Denmark, China, Russia, Egypt, Sierra Leone, Kazakhstan,  Uzbekistan, Italy, Poland, and Ireland among others

The monarch also received greetings from the president and prime minister of Hungary, the prime minister of Japan, as well as the secretary general of NATO.

Moroccan police have mobilized resources to ensure the flow of traffic and enhance security throughout Rabat in preparation for the celebrations marking the New Year.

Additionally, the Morocco’s Road Safety Agency has urged drivers to be cautious on the roads as there is predicted to be inclement weather throughout the evening.
