The squad representing Morocco arrived on Monday in Italy to play in the 2025 Kings World Cup Nations Italy.
The team has some familiar names including ex-Moroccan international players such as M’Barek Boussoufa, Nabil Dirar, Issam Erraki, Amine Bourkadi, Mohamed Nahiri, Zakaria Hadraf and ex-Futsal player Achraf Mohamed Saoud.
Instagram sensation Mehdi Amri is also in the squad. The five-time Panna Champion shares his footballing skills with his 2.7 million followers and is eager to put his dribbling techniques to good use and help take Morocco farther in the competition.
Morocco is set to take on Colombia on January 2 at 6 p.m.
Under the presidency of Barcelona Legend Gerard Piqué, 16 nations from across the world led by the best streamers will fight for the title of champion.
Games will take place in KL Arena, Milano in Italy.
The first matches of the knockout stages will see two heavyweights face each other as Argentina play against Spain on January 1 at 11 a.m.
The famous streamer, Ilyas El Maliki, was chosen by Gerard Piqué himself to preside over the squad.
El Maliki was not able to travel alongside the Moroccan squad after he was sentenced to prison in October to four months for public indecency.
However, the popular Moroccan streamer and YouTuber was released from El Jadida prison on Monday after his prison sentence was reduced to two months suspended.

El Maliki’s case began when Amazigh associations accused him of inciting hatred and discrimination. Those groups later withdrew their complaints, and El Maliki was acquitted of the more serious charges.
It remains to be seen whether El Maliki will join his team in Italy to take part in the Kings League World Cup of Nations.
