Join on Telegram Martial arts organization ONE Championship revealed its “ONE 171: Qatar” show will be topped by two world title fights.
ONE Championship will make its return to Lusail Sports Arena for its second show in Qatar on 20 February 2025.
In the show’s main event, Jonathan Haggerty puts his ONE Bantamweight Kickboxing world title on the line against Chinese star Wei Rui.

The 26-year-old British titleholder, who owns a 22-5 overall professional record, picked up the title with a win against ONE Bantamweight MMA world champion Fabricio Andrade last November.
However, the Chinese veteran poses the experience and skill set to pose a real threat to Haggerty’s throne. The 33-year-old, who made a winning debut against former divisional champion Hiroki Akimoto, is an established kickboxing star and former K-1 champion.
Also, the show will feature the third clash between ONE Strawweight MMA world champion Joshua Pacio and Interim world champion Jarred Brooks.
The score is even between the two men. While Brooks won the first fight back in August 2022, Pacio regained the world title with a DQ win back in March 2023 at ONE Championship’s first ever Qatar event, ONE 166.
In a PR statement, ONE Championship added that it would be adding more bouts to its second Qatar card soon.
