Fez – After the resounding success of its first edition, the #SiyahaPassion competition is back, once again shining a spotlight on the talents and careers that drive Morocco’s tourism industry.

This year, the competition takes place as part of the Siyaha Careers Celebration Week (February 17-26), a nationwide event dedicated to showcasing the diverse opportunities within the sector.

Organized by the National Confederation of Tourism (CNT) with support from the Ministry of Tourism, Handicrafts, and Social and Solidarity Economy, as well as the Moroccan National Tourism Office  (ONMT), Siyaha Careers Celebration Week aims to enhance the appeal of tourism and hospitality professions.

The initiative brings together industry stakeholders for a series of events designed to highlight the sector’s vitality and encourage young talent to consider careers in tourism.

“A world-class tourism industry is built on the dedication and expertise of its people. Recognizing and valuing these talents strengthens both our competitiveness and international appeal,” a report by the website Le Matin quoted  Tourism Minister Fatim-Zahra Ammor as saying. “Our 2023-2026 roadmap places human capital at the heart of our priorities. We are proud to support Siyaha Careers Celebration Week, which showcases the diversity of careers available in Moroccan tourism.”

Throughout the week, a dynamic lineup of interactive workshops, insightful conferences, networking sessions between professionals and students, and innovative competitions will take place across Morocco’s 12 regions.

A major highlight will be the grand announcement of the #SiyahaPassion winners, who will be honored during a special ceremony.

“#SiyahaPassion is more than a competition, it’s a platform that celebrates the richness of our cultural heritage and breathtaking landscapes,” said Hamid Bentahar, President of CNT.

“By rewarding talented individuals and passionate professionals, we hope to inspire the next generation to pursue fulfilling careers in this vital sector.”

Aimed at students and industry professionals, #SiyahaPassion showcases the wide range of opportunities the tourism industry offers.

Participants are invited to share their unique experiences and career journeys through engaging, creative videos, demonstrating the industry’s potential as a thriving and rewarding career path.

How to Participate

Create a video (maximum 1 minute 30 seconds) highlighting an aspect of Moroccan tourism, whether a personal story, a profession within the sector, or a unique skill.

Post the video on TikTok or Instagram.

Use the hashtag #SiyahaPassion and tag @YALLAHMOROCCO_.

Videos can be submitted in Moroccan Arabic, French, or English.

With this initiative, Morocco continues to invest in the future of its tourism industry by recognizing talent, fostering innovation, and encouraging young professionals to be part of an ever-evolving and essential economic sector.
