Rabat – Morocco’s food, culture, and architecture are merely a few features from a lengthy list of the reasons why tourists flock worldwide.
The charm of Morocco’s cultural heritage and tourism destination resonates among international magazines, including Forbes– which featured Marrakech– particularly the authentic Royal Mansour Marrakech.
Ranked at number five on a list of six wellness destinations to visit in 2025, Forbes included a series of photos showing the euphoria of the place and its capacity to turn a guest experience into a fairytale.
“The Royal Mansour Marrakech is a portal into a world of opulence, history, mysticism, and ancient wellness practices,” the magazine wrote, adding that the hotel is centrally located nested close to the famous Jemaa El Fna square.
The magazine further shed light on the unique atmosphere in the hotel, a key reason being the architecture; grand riads instead of the typical suites and hotel hallways.
“Surrounded by walls of the imperial city, this iconic place sits on 5-hectares of land,” the magazine wrote, citing also the magic that awaits visitors at the hotel spa.
“This all-white, 2,500 square meter space resembles fine white lace with its intricate cut-out panels and marble inlays,” Forbes said, describing the sound of water from the fountains and the fragrant aromas of essential oils.
For Forbes, the spa is a “true signature feature” that reflects Morocco’s dedication to wellness.
This is not the first Forbes list that has featured the best destinations to visit in Morocco, highlighting the country’s tourism assets.
While Royal Mansour is certainly one of the most frequently cited destinations, another place that always makes the list is the La Mamounia Hotel in Marrakech.
Many other magazines also feature Morocco on their must-see lists, furthering marketing the country’s destinations for tourists.
The North African country recorded a record 15.87 million visitors by the end of November last year. The number represented a 20% increase compared to a year earlier.
Morocco aims to reach 17 million visitors by 2026 and 26 million by 2030.
