Rabat — Hamza Igamane hit the ground running in the new year after the Moroccan scored his first-ever hat-trick and fastest brace in the first half, in his match against Hibernian in the Scottish league.
Igamane found the net after only four minutes into the game.
His second goal came 15 minutes later with a powerful header from inside the box after a clever movement to create space for himself.
After such an awful start, it was important that Hibs recovered quickly and set about reducing the deficit.
Hibs pulled one back on 31 minutes after Boyle slotted a neat finish into the far corner of the net.
In the second half, Martin Boyle came back to the score sheet after the referee awarded a penalty kick to Hibs. Boyle made no mistake from the spot, slamming the ball down the middle to restore parity.
However, hopes for a third goal came crashing down for the hosts after Igamane completed his hat-trick following a low cross from the right which he drilled low past the Hibs goalkeeper Jordan Smith.
With seven minutes remaining, Hibs levelled again 3-3 when Rocky Bushiri rose highest inside a crowded penalty area to bullet a header from Nicky Cadden’s corner kick into the net.
Igamane raises his goal tally to seven goals since joining Rangers from FAR Rabat last summer.
