Rabat – Morocco appears to be confident in its march toward sustainable development as Casablanca is getting ready to host the Green Impact Expo & Summit 2025 (GIES2025).
The groundbreaking event aims to transform sustainable mobility and transport decarbonization across Africa through its three-day summit, scheduled for February 11-13 at Anfa Park.
According to organizers, the summit marks a crucial step in Morocco’s commitment to green transition and sustainable mobility.
Mohamed Hifdi, Vice President of FTL-CGEM and President of GIES2025, told Morocco World News (MWN) that “this is the first exhibition dedicated to sustainable mobility and transport decarbonization.”
The event “will bring together various ecosystems – energy, transport, logistics, distribution, and industry – with a significant digital component,” he elaborated.
A press briefing held on February 05, pointed to the significance of GIES2025 as a platform for a convergence of expertise designed to bridge the gap between public and private sectors to address sustainable mobility solutions.
Over 100 exhibitors and sponsors, and an expected attendance exceeding 1,000 visitors will attend the event, positioning it to become a landmark platform for green innovation in Africa.

SIEG2025 will also feature exhibitions that aim to explore solutions that are immediately available in the market, whether it be in terms of equipment, services, or vehicles.
Since sustainable motility is the focus of the summit, a comprehensive program will address crucial aspects with themed conferences and workshops covering various issues, including governance, infrastructure, public services, social and territorial inclusion, financing, and regulatory frameworks.
France has been designated as GIES2025’s country of honor, with a dedicated French pavilion planned for the exhibition. The event will also welcome various African delegations, signaling Morocco’s role as a regional leader in sustainable development.
The timing of GIES2025 is particularly significant as Morocco prepares for major commitments in 2030. The summit will feature international success stories in urban logistics management, particularly under the constraints of major sporting events, providing valuable insights for Morocco’s future planning.
The Green Impact summit is in line with Morocco’s broader vision of a sustainable and green transition that would address climate change-related challenges.
