Doha – British airline Jet2 has announced the expansion of its winter 2025-2026 program with two new routes connecting the United Kingdom and Morocco, bringing its total Morocco-serving UK airports to eight.

The company will launch weekly Tuesday flights from Bournemouth Airport to Agadir, operating from November 4, 2025, through March 24, 2026.

Additionally, bi-weekly services (Tuesdays and Fridays) will connect Leeds Bradford Airport to Marrakech from October 3, 2025, until April 28, 2026.

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, talked about the strong market response in a statement on the news: “We have experienced a phenomenal reaction since launching our Morocco programme, with customers and independent travel agents jumping at the chance to book our award-winning flights and holidays to both Agadir and Marrakech.”

The Bournemouth-Agadir route marks Jet2’s first-ever operations from Bournemouth Airport, expanding the airline’s total destination count from this airport to 13 for Winter 25/26 and the year 2025 overall.

The new route makes Jet2 the UK carrier with the most extensive Agadir service, operating from seven UK airports during winter (Birmingham, Bristol, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Manchester, London Stansted, and Bournemouth).

For Leeds Bradford Airport, the new Marrakech connection adds to the airline’s growing network, bringing its total destination count to 22 for Winter 25/26, including two Moroccan destinations, and 58 destinations overall.

Marrakech will be served from six UK airports, including Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester, Newcastle, and London Stansted.

Travelers can choose between package holidays with Jet2holidays, city breaks with Jet2CityBreaks, or leisure flights with Jet2.com.

This expansion follows the company’s successful launch of what they termed “award-winning” flights and holiday services to Agadir and Marrakech in October 2024, responding to what the company describes as “continued demand for beach holidays and city breaks to Morocco.”

According to Jet2, Agadir has become Morocco’s premier beach destination, featuring a 9-kilometer stretch of golden sand lined with hotels, waterparks, and restaurants.

The coastal city offers additional attractions including traditional souks, minarets, and tea cafes, with nearby excursions available to the renowned Taghazout surfing village and Immi Ouaddar.

In the “Red City” of Marrakech, visitors can explore labyrinth-like streets leading to hidden riads with exquisitely tiled courtyards, says Jet2 in its statement.

The city offers both centrally-located accommodations for city breaks and a selection of 4 and 5-star hotels in the surrounding area, allowing travelers to experience Moroccan lifestyle while enjoying resort-style facilities near the iconic city center.
