Rabat – Barcelona and Atlético Madrid are set to lock horns in the first leg of their Copa del Rey semi-final today at 08:30 p.m Moroccan time.

Fans can watch the game’s live stream through ESPN, while they can also follow the broadcast on SSC, and French channel L’Equipe TV.

During this season, Barcelona have produced extraordinary new successes under the manager Hansi Flick, having gone unbeaten in 2025 with 11 wins and 2 draws.

This remarkable run has placed the Catalans at the top of LaLiga with 54 points, restoring faith following early-season inconsistencies.

Flick’s squad is bolstered by the potential inclusion of Dani Olmo, whose stellar performance against Las Palmas has earned him consideration for a starting role.

Lewandowski and Pedri’s fine form makes Barcelona’s attacking prowess appear formidable.

The Atlético Madrid squad, however, arrives with confidence of their own.

Diego Simeone’s men have suffered just one defeat in their previous 24 official matches and notably overcame Blaugrana 2-1 in their own backyard in December.

Flick, celebrating his 60th birthday, stressed the need for clinical finishing. “What we need to do is improve, be more efficient, and take advantage of those situations we missed in December.”

Despite missing key players Koke and César Azpilicueta through injury, Atlético’s lineup remains imposing with ex-barcelona player Griezmann and Álvarez leading the attack, supported by a resilient defense cemented by Giménez and Le Normand.

Simeone acknowledged the challenge ahead in his pre-match comments: “It will be a match divided into two halves, one at their ground and one at ours. There will be moments when you have to endure.”

Referee Hernandez Hernandez will officiate the clash between Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.

With the second leg scheduled for April at the Metropolitano, both sides recognize this first Copa Del Rey encounter could prove decisive in their pursuit of silverware this season.
