Rabat – Real Madrid and Leganes to lock horns as part of the Copa del Rey quarterfinals today at 9 p.m Moroccan time.
Fans can livestream the game through ESPN, while they can watch the broadcast on SSC1 and French L’Equipe TV.
Both teams aim to advance to the next stage and secure a ticket to the semi-finals of this competition.
The visitors are coming with an emptied squad following injuries to Kylian Mbappe and midfielder Jude Bellingham.
Madrid’s coach, Carlo Ancelotti, said on Tuesday that “Bellingham had a bruise from a knock and will not be available.”
Talking of Vinicius Junior and Mbappe, Ancelotti said that the Brazilian “has been given an extra day to recover, but will be available.” As for Mbappe, the Madrid manager said that while he trained yesterday, “he has a bruise on his calf … but he won’t be available for the game.”
The duo join midfielder Eduardo Camavinga, defenders David Alaba and Antonio Rudiger, as well as other long-term defensive absentees Eder Militao and Dani Carvajal on the sidelines.
These missing players will logically prompt Carlo Ancelotti to make some rotations as his team looks to advance to the semifinals of this domestic cup.
Los Blanco made a strong entrance to the competition, beating Deportivo Minera 5-0. Real Madrid then won their next match against Celta Vigo 5-2 in extra time.
Leganes has recently suffered a home defeat against Rayo Vallecano, pushing the team down to 16th rank in LaLiga table.
However, the team has fought to remain competitive, recently beating Almeria 2-3 away, and Cartagena 1-2.
The game is set up to take place in Estadio Municipal de Butarque in Leganes, with Jabier Alberola as the referee.
