Rabat – eSTEM Morocco has announced the expansion of its Titrit Digital Houses project, with five new centers being launched across three Moroccan regions.
The project aims to improve digital inclusion for marginalized girls across the country, said eSTEM Morocco in a press release. It is implemented in partnership with L’Oréal Morocco, thanks to support from the L’Oréal Fund for Women.
The statement described the Titrit Digital Houses as safe, well-equipped spaces where girls aged 8 to 18 can access digital education. These centers focus on digital literacy and personal development and aim to help girls build both technical and life skills.
The project supports gender equality in education and works especially to reach girls in remote and underserved areas.
Following the success of the first 14 digital houses, which were created in partnership with local associations, five more will be opened in the Oriental region, Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima, Beni Mellal-Khénifra, Laayoune-Saguia al Hamra, and Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab.
This expansion means the program will now cover all 12 regions of Morocco. With this move, eSTEM Morocco said it aims to create a national model for STEM education and gender inclusion.
In this new phase, 1,250 girls will directly benefit from the digital houses, while around 3,750 others, including families, community members, and local partners, will be positively impacted. The goal is to reduce the digital skills gap between genders and give young women new opportunities in education and employment.
The initiative also includes the launch of a mobile version of the Titrit app, a digital learning tool that gives 15,000 girls access to mentoring, learning materials, and personal guidance to help them grow their skills and confidence. In the long term, eSTEM Morocco hopes to reach 50,000 girls across the country.
Nezha Larhrissi, President and Co-Founder of eSTEM Morocco, said that the initiative is “not only teaching skills, we are building strong female leadership rooted in local communities and focused on the future.”
She added that each digital house is a place of “learning, innovation, and sisterhood, where girls can learn, express themselves, and build their futures with confidence.”
