Rabat – Ahead of the International Day of the Girl, eSTEM Morocco, in partnership with the Social Innovation Lab (SIL) at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P), launched the Titrit Girls Collaborative Council at the university’s Benguerir campus.
The initiative strives to empower young girls across Morocco by enhancing their skills in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Seventeen girls from diverse regions, including Martil, Dakhla, Inezgane, Khouribga, and Casablanca, gathered for the event.
As alumni of programs like Technovation Girls, TechGirls, and Digigirlz, they spent two days collaborating to design the structure and objectives of the Titrit Girls Collaborative Council, in preparation for the upcoming eSTEAM Festival.
The event centered on developing leadership skills within the group, encouraging them to collaborate on practical projects and create a unified vision.
Over two days, with the support of eSTEM Morocco and the Social Innovation Lab, the participants co-designed the council’s structure and activities. Afterward, they established an action plan to be implemented in different regions, aligning with eSTEM Morocco’s goal of engaging 50,000 girls in STEM by 2025.
The Titrit Girls Collaborative Council offers a platform for empowerment and mentorship while building a strong network of young STEM ambassadors.

These girls will serve as role models and leaders within their communities, inspiring others to explore STEM fields. The council is dedicated to promoting inclusion and equality, encouraging a new generation of Moroccan women to take on future challenges in science and engineering.
Established in 2013, eSTEM Morocco is a non-profit organization focused on advancing STEM education and careers for girls in Morocco. It has earned international accolades, including the United Nations Foundation’s Global Citizen Education Award and the Aspen Digital Equity Accelerator distinction.
eSTEM Morocco launched “Titrit” in 2023, billing it as a digital platform that offers training, mentorship, and networking opportunities for girls across Morocco. The following year, the organization received the Women’s Empowerment Award from the World Electronic Forum.
