Ismael Saibari’s stock continues to rise in Dutch football after he was shortlisted as one of five nominees for the Eredivisie Player of the Season following a stellar run with PSV Eindhoven.
The 22-year-old has racked up 13 goals and 14 assists across all competitions – nine and eleven respectively in the league – making him a standout performer in a side still in the hunt for the title as PSV trail Ajax by a single point with two games left.

PSV have tied down their midfield gem until 2028. PSV’s director of football, Earnest Stewart, said: “Ismael is technically gifted, fearless under pressure and hungry to learn. He’s become a crucial part of our squad.”
If Ajax slip, Saibari may yet celebrate a second league title — and perhaps an individual award.
