According to the guide, Moroccans enjoy visa-free travel or visa-on-arrival privileges to 72 countries and territories worldwide.
This mobility rating falls in the medium-to-low range when compared to top-tier passports.
Moroccan nationals can visit Brazilian beaches, Thai markets, Malaysian cities, and Maldivian resorts without applying for visas beforehand.
Other accessible countries with a Moroccan passport include Albania, Armenia, Turkey, and numerous nations across Africa and Latin America.
The ranking sheds light on both the current travel opportunities available to Moroccan citizens and potential areas for improvement.
To climb higher in future passports rankings, Morocco must focus on expanding bilateral agreements, making consular services more efficient, and enhancing diplomatic and economic ties with more countries.
Moroccan passport holders can explore diverse corners of the globe without visa headaches.
These include African nations, including Tunisia, Senegal, and Rwanda, which welcome their North African neighbors freely. For Middle Eastern destinations, Moroccans can pay a visit to various countries, including Jordan, Lebanon, and the United Arab Emirates, which maintain open-door policies for Moroccan visitors.
In the Americas, countries such as Brazil and Colombia offer Moroccan passport holders visa-free entry, alongside several Caribbean islands. Asian destinations accessible without prior paperwork range from Turkey and Armenia to Thailand and Malaysia.
Island getaways aren’t off-limits either — Moroccans can spontaneously use their passport to jet off to the Maldives, Cook Islands, and several other tropical paradises without visa concerns.
This list may expand as Morocco continues to develop international partnerships and trade relationships, potentially improving the passport’s global ranking in the years to come.
