Since joining Olympiacos in August 2023, El Kaabi has been a standout player, proving to be a crucial force in the team’s success. He has scored 61 goals for the Greek club.
El Kabbi finished as the club’s top scorer this season with 27 goals and 6 assists. His contributions helped Olympiacos win the Greek Super League (2025) and the Greek Cup (2025).
El Kaabi also played a pivotal role in the team’s UEFA Europa Conference League in 2024, emerging as their top scorer in the competition with 11 goals.
The Moroccan striker’s most defining moment came in last year’s final, where he scored the decisive goal in the 116th minute of extra time, which handed Olympiacos its first major European trophy.
Youssef En-Nesyri, the other Moroccan involved in the competition, also put in a fine performance. He finished with 6 goals for Fenerbahçe in 12 games played.
With Morocco set to host the Africa Cup of Nations in December 2025, national team coach Walid Regragui can look forward to having two in-form goal-getters leading its attacking line.
