Rabat – Netherlands and Spain’s under-19 teams are facing off today as part of the UEFA Under-19 Championship, also known as UEFA EURO.
The match will take place today at 7 p.m. Moroccan time.
UEFA.com is set to air the match, which will take place in Romania’s Rapid Giulesti Stadium.
Spain’s lineup is expected to include Jimenez, Olmedo, Martin, Cuenca, Munoz, Marcos, Merino, Monseratte, Garcia, Janneh, and Coredro.
As for the Netherlands, the team is set to be starred by Keerkens, Read, Ugwu, Janese, Dijkstra, Verkuijl, Smit, Land, Oufkir, Konadu, and Sliti.
Spain’s performance in the competition has made headlines, with Sporting News applauding their 6-5 victory against Germany in the semi-finals.
“In contrast, the Netherlands had it quite easy as they comfortably defeated the hosts Romania 3-1, with goals from Don-Angelo Konadu, Kees Smit, and Aymen Sliti,” Sporting News reported.
Spain had a successful campaign throughout the competition, which started on June 13.
La Roja’s U19 won over Denmark in the opening game. On June 16, the team also won a game against Romania 3-1.
Montenegro also suffered a defeat 5-0 against Spain.
As for the Netherlands, they defeated Germany 3-0 during their first match.
They also beat Norway 2-0 and England 4-2.
