Rabat – Royal Air Maroc (RAM), Morocco’s flag carrier, will restart direct flights between Marrakech and Lyon, Toulouse, Nantes, and Bordeaux starting October 10.

The company will also increase flights on its existing routes connecting Marrakech with Marseille and Brussels, the company announced in a statement.

“These relaunches and route increases are part of our development plan, especially our ‘point-to-point’ strategy to better connect Morocco’s main tourist destinations with key European markets such as France and Belgium,” said RAM CEO Hamid Addou.

He added that the move will serve both Moroccan communities living abroad and international tourists, while strengthening Marrakech’s position as a top travel destination in Morocco’s 2030 tourism roadmap.

RAM noted that the new flights are scheduled at convenient days and times for French and Belgian travelers, as well as Moroccan expatriates.

Starting October 10, Marrakech–Toulouse and Marrakech–Lyon will operate twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays. Flights to Toulouse will leave Marrakech at 8:15 a.m., arriving at 11:45 a.m., and flights to Lyon will depart at 3:20 p.m., arriving at 7:20 p.m. Return flights will leave Toulouse at 12:45 p.m. and Lyon at 8:20 p.m.

From October 11, Marrakech–Nantes will operate twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Departures from Marrakech are scheduled at 8:15 a.m., arriving in Nantes at 12:05 p.m. The return flights will leave Nantes at 1:05 p.m., arriving in Marrakech at 3:00 p.m.

Starting October 12, Marrakech–Bordeaux will operate twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays. Departures from Marrakech are at 5:10 p.m., arriving in Bordeaux at 8:40 p.m. Return flights will leave Bordeaux at 9:40 p.m., arriving in Marrakech at 11:20 p.m.

Additional flights will also be added from Marrakech to Marseille, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and to Brussels on Thursdays and Sundays.

These new and increased flights join Royal Air Maroc’s existing “point-to-point” network linking Moroccan cities directly to key European destinations, including Paris, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Frankfurt, and Las Palmas.
