Rabat — Morocco has rapidly delivered its additional humanitarian aid shipment to Gaza residents.
The swift delivery took place thanks to King Mohammed VI’s international standing and the country’s growing geopolitical influence, according to Palestinian Television Director General Mohammed Al-Barghouti.
Speaking to Morocco’s official news agency (MAP), Al-Barghouti said that Morocco’s diplomatic weight and the respect King Mohammed VI commands worldwide were behind ensuring the aid reached Gaza populations, which is suffering from Israeli-induced starvation.
“The Kingdom leveraged its geopolitical influence on the international scene and the great consideration it enjoys under His Majesty’s leadership to deliver this aid urgently and directly to vulnerable populations in the Gaza Strip,” Al-Barghouti said.
The Palestinian official pointed out that this humanitarian initiative reflects Morocco’s major role in ensuring urgent aid delivery to the Palestinian people amid the catastrophic situation.
Royal initiative offers hope
Al-Barghouti described King Mohammed VI’s initiative as “a beacon of hope for Palestinians in Gaza and a message to freedom-loving nations worldwide to launch similar initiatives.”
He noted that the aid reflects Morocco’s leading role in supporting the Palestinian cause through firm political positions in international forums.
The aid delivery confirms Morocco’s unwavering support for Palestinians and marks a new chapter in the country’s defense of the Palestinian cause, Al-Barghouti added.
Al-Qods committee’s ongoing work
Al-Barghouti commended the work of the Al-Qods Committee, which King Mohammed VI chairs, as well as the Bayt Mal Al-Qods Acharif Agency, for their support of Jerusalem residents’ resilience.
The Palestinian official also hailed the consistent positive actions taken by King Mohammed VI, the Moroccan government, and the Moroccan people in support of the Palestinian cause. He noted that the North African country has always shown special interest in the Palestinian issue.
Morocco’s diplomatic success
The successful delivery of aid to Gaza reflects Morocco’s ability to navigate complex international situations and use its diplomatic relationships to achieve humanitarian goals.
King Mohammed VI’s role as Chairman of the Al-Qods Committee has positioned Morocco as a key advocate for Palestinian rights on the global stage.
