Dubai is set for a huge night of MMA action as the Professional Fighters League (PFL) brings its Champions Series: Road to Dubai – The Rematch to Coca-Cola Arena on Friday, October 3. Tickets are on sale now.
The event will feature a 12-fight card, including a stacked main event double-header. Headlining the night, Dagestan’s undefeated Usman Nurmagomedov (19-0, 1 NC) will face Ireland’s Paul Hughes (14-2) in a rematch for the PFL Lightweight World Title. The co-main event will see former Bellator Light Heavyweight Champion Corey Anderson (19-6) take on 2024 PFL Light Heavyweight Champion Dovlet Yagshimuradov (25-7-1) for the PFL Light Heavyweight World Title.
The main card also features exciting matchups, including Archie Colgan vs. Jay-Jay Wilson at lightweight, Lewis McGrillen vs. Caolan Loughran at bantamweight, and Magomed Magomedov vs. Sergio Pettis at bantamweight.
The early card adds more firepower with Algerian Asael Adjoudj taking on Uzbekistan’s Mirafzal Akhtamov, Japan’s Takeshi Izumi facing Brazil’s Vinicius Cenci, Russia’s Makkasharip Zaynukov clashing with Ireland’s John Mitchell, and Jordan’s Jarrah Al-Silawi meeting France’s Gregory Babene at middleweight.
Coca-Cola Arena, a 17,000-seat venue in the heart of City Walk, Dubai, will host the event. The arena is fully equipped for world-class live sports and entertainment, just 15 minutes from Dubai International Airport.
