Rabat – Gentis, an international executive search and recruitment firm, has announced the appointment of Fayçal Lahlou Nabil as Executive Director for the Middle East & Africa (MEA) region.

In his new role, he will oversee regional operations and drive the company’s growth across the entire area, said Gentis in a statement.

Gentis is known for its expertise in recruiting and supporting executives and senior leaders, according to the statement. The firm operates across multiple continents, with a strong presence in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and North America.

With over 15 years of experience, Gentis provides tailored recruitment solutions to meet the growth needs of companies worldwide, according to the company.

Before this appointment, Nabil successfully led Gentis’ office in Morocco and supervised the firm’s activities in France. His promotion reflects Gentis’ strategy of developing internal talent to strengthen its regional presence and achieve its ambition of becoming a global leader in executive recruitment.

Nabil has built extensive experience in executive recruitment and management over the past decade. He began his career at MDA Resources, where he worked as a Sales Executive from 2011 to 2012 and then as an IT Recruitment Consultant from 2009 to 2011.

He later joined a confidential company in Brussels as Business Development Manager from 2012 to 2016. He then moved to Michael Page, where he progressed through several roles, including Consultant – Engineering & Manufacturing (Procurement & Supply Chain) from 2016 to 2017, Senior Consultant from 2017 to 2018, and Associate – Procurement & Supply Chain in Belgium from 2018 to 2019.

He continued at Michael Page as Executive Manager from 2019 to 2022 and then as Senior Executive Manager until 2023, based in Casablanca.

In November 2023, Nabil joined Gentis as Executive Director for France & Morocco, where he successfully strengthened the company’s position in these key markets.

Nabil holds a degree from ISFCE, a French business and management school.

In his new role as Executive Director for the Middle East & Africa, Nabil will oversee Gentis’ operations across the region, drive business growth, and strengthen client relationships.

He is set to lead regional teams, implement strategic initiatives, and promote internal talent development to expand Gentis’ presence and reinforce its position as a leading executive recruitment firm in the MEA region.
