Rabat – A tragic incident took place today in Douar Ennasir, a village in the Sidi Bouzid commune in the Chichaoua province, near Marrakech.
Local authorities in the region reported that the five people died of asphyxiation while cleaning a septic tank. Authorities said local and security services, along with civil protection services, rushed to the scene.
Upon their arrival, the victims’ bodies were recovered and transferred to the provincial hospital of Chichaouua.
Four of the people who died are from the same family, and an investigation is ongoing to determine the circumstances of the case.
