Mohammedia – Sparks, a Junior Enterprise, has been awarded the I-Tech Prize during the 2025 edition of the Company Program organized by Injaz Al-Maghrib, highlighting the team’s innovative approach to integrating artificial intelligence into industrial processes.
The project combines intelligent supervision software with portable measurement and prediction kits, allowing industries to automate quality control, track performance in real time, and optimize productivity, maintenance, and resource management.
By making Industry 4.0 tools more accessible, Sparks offers a practical example of how student-led initiatives can address real-world technological challenges.
Last year, the I-Tech Prize went to Glove Voice, a Junior Enterprise that developed smart gloves capable of translating sign language into spoken words.
Their AI-powered solution aims to improve communication for people who are mute or deaf, helping them integrate more smoothly into society and showcasing how student innovations can address real social challenges.
The Company Program, now a key national competition, provides students from public institutions across Morocco with hands-on experience in entrepreneurship.
Under the mentorship of volunteer professionals, participants learn to develop a project from its initial idea to a market-ready product, building skills that will prepare them for future careers in business and technology.
Over 6,200 students from 101 institutions participated in the program this year, demonstrating the growing enthusiasm for entrepreneurial projects among Moroccan youth.
Through partnerships like the Company Program, INWI continues to support digital innovation and helps nurture the next generation of tech-savvy entrepreneurs.
Awarding Sparks the I-Tech Prize reflects the potential of student projects to drive technological progress and shows the impact of initiatives like Injaz Al-Maghrib in cultivating talent that can shape Morocco’s digital and industrial landscape.
