Rabat – Bilal El Khannouss was named in the Bundesliga Team of the Week after a standout performance for Stuttgart, scoring the decisive goal in a 1–0 win over FC Heidenheim.
The 21-year-old scored the only goal for Stuttgart in the 65th minute, beating two defenders and firing a low shot from the edge of the box. It was his third goal since joining Stuttgart last month
It was the third consecutive for Stuttgart in an achievement the club had not achieved in 34 years
The win lifted Stuttgart to fourth place in the Bundesliga with 12 points behind RB Leipzig, Dortmund, and Bayern Munich
El Khannouss joined Stuttgart on loan from Leicester City during the summer, following Leicester’s relegation from the Premier League.
