Rabat – Egypt has officially qualified for the World Cup 2026 after their 3-0 win over Djibouti in Stade Larbi Zaouli in Casablanca.
The first goal came from Ibrahim Adel in 8 minutes after Zizo delivered a precise pass into the box and adel finished it calmly with lose shot, then in the 14th minute salah add the second goal after and assist from Trezeguet, then later in the second half assist added another goal in the 84th minute to secure the win and send egypt to officially to the world cup

Mohamed Salah’s brace against Djibouti has raised his tally to 20 goals in FIFA World Cup qualifiers, making him the all-time leading scorer among African players, ahead of legends like Didier Drogba, Samuel Eto’o, and Islam Slimani.
Salah is also currently the top scorer in the 2026 African qualifiers with 9 goals so far.
Egypt leads Group A with 23 points, and their next match is on October 12 against Guinea-Bissau at Cairo International Stadium in Egypt
