GITEX Global 2025 Showcases Dubai’s AI-Powered Innovations and Leadership in Sovereign Systems and Cyber Defence

Mohammedia – GITEX Global 2025 opened in Dubai today, bringing together global tech companies to showcase the latest advances in AI, cybersecurity, and sovereign data infrastructure.

This year’s event focuses on how AI is being embedded into every layer of modern technology, from cyber defence to intelligent data platforms. The shift from pilot projects to production-scale systems reflects a growing demand for trust, control, and performance in the region’s digital landscape.

Sovereign AI and smarter security

According to statements reported by Gulf Business, several leading companies outlined their latest AI and cybersecurity advancements during the event.

NETSCOUT is addressing the rise of complex, multi-vector DDoS attacks across the Middle East with new updates to its adaptive protection systems.

The company is demonstrating how its observability and control interface integrates with traffic management tools to detect and respond to network disruptions in real time.

“Attendees will see live demos showing how hidden devices are identified and secured,” said Dr. Emad Fahmy, Director of Systems Engineering for the Middle East.

VAST Data is introducing its VAST AI Operating System to the region, designed to unify enterprise data and power AI applications at scale.

The platform combines real-time retrieval, simplified adoption, and a universal data catalog to make data instantly usable by AI systems.

“Globally, the talk of pilots is quietening as AI moves from proof-of-concept into production, and that demands new thinking about data,” said General Manager for META, Haider Aziz, adding that enterprises now seek accuracy, scale, and trust, rather than experimentation.

Phosphorus Cybersecurity is focusing on protecting connected devices through its Unified xIoT Security Management Platform.

The system discovers, secures, and monitors IoT and industrial assets while aligning with local compliance frameworks in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

Vice President for MEA, Osama Alzoubi, said the platform supports governments and enterprises as AI becomes increasingly integrated into national infrastructure.

NVIDIA is unveiling its DGX systems and the NVIDIA Cosmos platform, built to enhance AI training and robotics through synthetic data.

The company said its solutions enable organizations of all sizes to develop intelligent applications and automate infrastructure efficiently.

Regional Director for Enterprise META, Marc Domenech, noted that GITEX remains a “strategic platform to deepen partnerships and build the AI ecosystem from cloud to edge.”

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is presenting solutions that address the operational challenges of large-scale AI adoption. The company’s focus lies on power efficiency, heat management, and high-speed networking within data centres.

Chief Technologist and Director of HPC and AI Global Sales, Mohammad Al-Jallad, said AI’s rapid expansion creates immense demands on data centres and networks, urging businesses to plan for sustainable performance.

SentinelOne is showcasing its AI-powered cybersecurity suite, including the Singularity Platform and AI-SIEM tools. The company’s demonstration highlights how machine-speed automation can strengthen threat detection and compliance.

“‘Powering the Future’, the event’s tagline reflects SentinelOne’s vision of enabling organisations to thrive securely in an AI-driven world,” said regional Senior Director, Ezzeldin Hussein.

Sophos is highlighting an integrated model that combines endpoint protection, firewalls, and managed detection and response.

The company said its approach aligns security operations with cyber insurance standards, helping firms strengthen resilience and prevent advanced threats.

Vice President for Emerging Markets, Harish Chib, said Sophos’ mission is to help organisations “build adaptive, round-the-clock cyber defences.”

ManageEngine is using the event to introduce AI enhancements across its IT management portfolio. The updates include new threat detection features in its SIEM system and an AI-powered virtual assistant for service management.

“By embedding AI more deeply into our offerings we aim to drive smarter, faster, and more secure IT operations,” said regional Business Director, Sujoy Banerjee.

Logitech is unveiling AI-driven workplace tools that balance collaboration with environmental sustainability.

The company’s new lineup, designed for hybrid work environments, integrates intelligent sensors and energy-saving features.

Vice President for Global Emerging Markets, Moninder Jain, said Logitech’s innovations are “reshaping how teams collaborate and operate sustainably.”

GITEX Global 2025 underscores how artificial intelligence is redefining enterprise operations, national infrastructure, and digital governance. Through a focus on sovereignty, automation, and security, the event marks another step in the region’s pursuit of a secure and self-sustaining AI ecosystem.
