Rabat – The International University of Rabat (UIR) hosted today its Job Fair 2025, bringing together students, alumni, and over 30 companies from diverse sectors. Organized by the College of Engineering & Architecture, the event aims to strengthen employability, recruitment, and collaboration between talented graduates and leading industry players.
“Each year, more companies participate in the event. Today, we have over 30 companies from different industries, including IT, aerospace, automotive, engineering, energy, renewable energy, and architecture,” said Ali El Harti, Employability and Alumni Manager at UIR and project manager for the event.
“We are also very proud to have startups that have been created here at the university. We have alumni coming back to mentor our students and present their projects,” El Harti told Morocco World News on the sidelines of the event.
Growing participation every year
He noted the event has welcomed over 1,000 visitors, including alumni, students, and companies. “We’re really glad to see how the event is evolving every year,” El Harti Added.

For students, the fair represents a unique opportunity to meet industry experts, explore career paths, and discover employment opportunities. “The job fair helps us connect with experts and get to know a lot of companies, as well as find job opportunities,” Fatima Ezzahrae Ait Taleb, a student at UIR, told MWN.
“For me, UIR is a modern university that values international programs, self-growth, and innovation. I’m proud to be representing UIR in this event as an Ambassador,” she added.
The event also included the signing of agreements between UIR and some participating companies to open internship and career pathways for students. “We are pleased to be here with the International University of Rabat for the signing of the agreement with the students, so that they can have opportunities like doing internships with us,” said Wiam Saadaoui, HR Manager at Africa PT, a company specializing in post-tensioning solutions for buildings and civil engineering structures.

Speaking during the signing of the agreements, Abdelaziz Benjouad, Vice President of Research and Development at the university, expressed UIR’s commitment to collaboration and quality education, as well as the importance of listening to industry needs.
“Thanks to the availability of the International University of Rabat and its ability to listen to the industrial sector and international strategies, we are pleased today to welcome you and facilitate dialogue between all parties,” he said.
UIR’s commitment to employability and quality education
Benjouad also noted the university’s strong track record in graduate employment, saying that “currently, the employment rate for graduates from the university exceeds 90% in the first year for many programs, thanks to the trust of our industrial partners.” He stated that in some fields, “hiring even happens before graduation, which reflects both confidence and recognition of the quality of the education provided.”

In addition to job and internship opportunities, the fair included immersive and interactive activities designed to enhance the candidate experience. These included stand visits, express interviews, HR coaching sessions, alumni mentoring, and a dedicated area for signing partnership agreements.
The participating companies ranged from major international players such as Renault, Stellantis, Aptiv, Safran, Orange Business, and Axa, to specialized technology firms like Ventec, Aeolon Technology, Leyton, Auphys, Crit, Segula, TDM Aerospace, and Akkodis.
According to the organizers, the 2025 edition of the Job Fair further reflects UIR’s efforts to align its curriculum with the evolving needs of the job market. “We regularly hold meetings with industry partners to ensure flexibility, so that graduates can be fully operational from the start of their professional careers,” Benjouad explained.

“Through the work of the Vice President for Research, Innovation, and Partnerships, we are also developing research programs with various partners,” he stated, adding that the university has strengthened its position in Africa, including technology transfers carried out with national and international companies.
The university has also begun implementing executive training programs to support professionals already employed in partner institutions and companies, Benjouad concluded.
