Rabat – Morocco wrapped up their November international window with a strong 4–0 win over Uganda at the Grand Stade de Tanger.

The friendly match, played on November 18, was the last test for the Atlas Lions before they host the Africa Cup of Nations in January 2025.

The scoring started early when Uganda’s defender Achai turned the ball into his own net in the 9th minute.

Morocco doubled their lead in the 33rd minute through Ilias Saibari, who finished calmly after a pass from Noussair Mazraoui.

In the second half, Soufiane Rahimi made it 3–0 from the penalty spot in the 78th minute. Bilal El Khannouss added the fourth goal in the 88th minute to seal the win.

Morocco dominated the match from start to finish. They had 64% possession, 20 total shots, and 10 on target.

Uganda failed to register a single shot on target and had only two attempts overall.

Morocco created six big chances and completed 489 accurate passes at 88% success. Uganda had no corners and committed no fouls, while Morocco earned five corners and committed ten fouls.

This victory marks Morocco’s 18th consecutive win, the longest winning streak in international football history, surpassing previous records held by Spain and Germany.

The streak includes World Cup qualifiers, AFCON qualifiers, and friendlies, showing Morocco’s consistency under coach Walid Regragui.

Earlier this month, Morocco beat Mozambique 1–0. These results give the team strong momentum heading into AFCON 2025, where they will compete as hosts and one of the top-ranked sides in the world.
