Rabat – Tangier police put infamous Moroccan TikToker Younes, also known as “Moulinex” in pre-trial detention for his alleged involvement in human trafficking, sexual exploitation, and distribution of prohibited content involving a minor, among other heavy charges.
Security services in Marrakech arrested the TikToker on Thursday, following his appearance before the prosecutor.
He was transferred to Tangier, where security services put him in pre-trial detention as he faces several charges, including alleged incitement to debauchery, public indecency, and publishing allegations that violate privacy.
Converging reports said Moulinex is involved in the case of a minor, whose mother was also recently arrested, charged with human trafficking and sexual exploitation of others, among other crimes.
Both Moulinex and the minor’s mother face serious offences that carry sentences ranging from 20 to 30 years in prison if convicted.
The minor and his mother appeared before the investigating judge earlier this month in Tangier. The minor is being referred to the court of first instance to face misdemeanor charges while his mother will be prosecuted before the criminal chamber.
Moulinex reportedly exchanged messages with the minor and directly participated with him in TikTok live sessions.
However, investigations are ongoing to determine Moulinex’ full role and possible involvement in the case.
