Rabat– The first edition of The Moroccan Fair, an international exhibition dedicated entirely to Moroccan brands, is scheduled to debut in 2026, with the exact date and full program expected to be announced soon. The event will take place in Dubai and aims to offer a global platform for contemporary Moroccan creativity across multiple industries.

The fair will gather Moroccan brands and creators from sectors including fashion, design, decoration, jewelry, beauty, craftsmanship, and lifestyle. Presented in a press statement as a curated and modern exhibition, the event seeks to highlight Morocco’s creative landscape within a structured, architectural setting.

The initiative is led by two Moroccan entrepreneurs who note that, despite the country’s dynamic creative scene, it has not previously had an international event of this scale devoted exclusively to its designers and brands.

Dubai was selected as the host city due to its status as a major hub for exhibitions and international trade, as well as its strong regional influence in design, fashion, and art. The city’s global visibility and sizable Moroccan community also contributed to the choice.

According to the organizers, the event will feature a selective process for participating brands and will adopt a contemporary approach to presentation, focusing on modern design and immersive layouts. The fair is positioned as a cultural platform rather than a traditional craft market, aiming to reflect current trends in Moroccan creation.

Applications for participation will open soon, with updates to be shared on the event’s official website, themoroccanfair.com, and its social media channels.

According to a report from February, Morocco’s handicraft industry generates an estimated annual revenue of MAD 140 billion ($14 billion), accounting for 7 percent of the national Gross Domestic Product.

Morocco’s handicraft exports rose to MAD 1.11 billion ($111 million) last year, marking a 3 percent increase from the previous year, while 251 artisans were awarded national quality labels.
