Rabat – More than 35,000 companies have been created online in Morocco through the national digital platform dedicated to business formation, reflecting the steady expansion of administrative digitization across public services.
Amal El Fallah Seghrouchni, Minister Delegate in charge of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, announced the figures yesterday during a parliamentary session devoted to the acceleration of digital administrative procedures.
Addressing lawmakers, the minister said the national portal for digital public services now offers more than 600 online services covering a wide range of administrative needs.
She noted that the government is continuing to adapt these services in coordination with relevant institutions to ensure compliance with the legal framework governing personal data protection and cybersecurity.
This work aims to align digital public services with the requirements set out in Law 09.08 on the protection of personal data and Law 05.20 related to cybersecurity, the minister argued.
She explained that nearly half of the digital processes currently available are already compliant with existing legal and regulatory standards.
This represents more than 120 digital services that have undergone formal legal alignment procedures, particularly in areas related to personal data management and system security.
According to Seghrouchni, the ministry is pursuing the gradual extension of this compliance process to cover all digital public services made available to citizens and businesses.

She also provided updates on the development of the Idarati portal, stating that a project is underway to structure and unify data models, administrative procedures, and official decisions.
Seghrouchni said the objective is to establish a coherent and centralized database capable of supporting more efficient and consistent public service delivery. This infrastructure is expected to improve access to information while reducing fragmentation across administrative processes.
Within this framework, she said the platform will also support the deployment of an intelligent chatbot designed to use the portal’s data to provide accurate and reliable responses to users.
During the current year, a pilot project covering more than 300 priority administrative procedures has already been implemented.
This initiative has enabled the creation of a unified database that facilitates intelligent search functions, simplifies procedures, and contributes to faster digitization of public services.
Regarding plans for the future, the minister announced that the national artificial intelligence roadmap, Maroc IA 2030, is scheduled to be unveiled in January.
The strategy will rely on the establishment of a national network of centers of excellence known as the Jazari Institute, which will coordinate research, innovation, and the use of artificial intelligence within public administration.
Morocco has recorded a 14-point improvement in its artificial intelligence readiness index for 2025, she concluded, noting that the country ranked 87th globally and eighth across the Middle East and North Africa.
