Marrakech – Spanish travel distribution company IAG7 Viajes has formalized its entry into the Moroccan market through a strategic capital investment in local agency Caddy Voyages. The operation marks IAG7’s first expansion into North Africa as part of its broader internationalization strategy.

IAG7 Viajes acquired a stake in Caddy Voyages, an independent Moroccan agency specializing in leisure and corporate travel services. The partnership aims to create a reference platform for travel flows between Europe and Africa, leveraging Morocco’s strategic position as a bridge between the two continents.

“This operation responds to a well-defined strategy of development in markets with high potential, where we can apply the experience and operational excellence that have consolidated our group as one of the leaders in tourism distribution in Spain,” said Ángel Muñoz, CEO of IAG7 Group.

Under the alliance, IAG7 Viajes will provide Caddy Voyages with travel management expertise, proprietary digital platforms, and access to an extensive network of European suppliers. The collaboration is designed to strengthen corporate, MICE, and leisure offerings while optimizing airline and hotel negotiation conditions.

Caddy Voyages will maintain its independent identity and operational autonomy while benefiting from IAG7’s technological tools and market knowledge. The Moroccan agency offers comprehensive services, including airline ticketing, event organization, and customized travel solutions for both B2B and B2C clients.

“The entry of IAG7 Viajes into our capital constitutes a key step in the evolution of Caddy Voyages. This partnership allows us to accelerate our development, strengthen our structure, and expand our value proposition, while preserving our DNA as an independent, agile agency close to its clients,” said Meryem Benchekroun, General Director of Caddy Voyages.

Mouna Fatmi, also General Director of Caddy Voyages, noted the strategic vision behind the partnership. “Beyond the financial investment, this alliance is based on a common vision of travel, founded on innovation, digitalization, and regional cooperation,” she said.

“Morocco is a natural crossroads between Europe and Africa, and this rapprochement allows us to build a sustainable and efficient platform.”

IAG7 Group operates with more than 550 employees across offices in Spain, Portugal, and now Morocco. The company has over 30 years of experience in the sector and currently ranks as the third operator in the Spanish corporate travel market. Its business activities span business travel, MICE services, airline consolidation, and wholesale operations.

The Spanish group maintains 37 offices and generates over €340 million in annual revenue. IAG7 holds ISO 9001, 14001, and 27001 certifications and upholds its commitment to social and environmental responsibility.

The partnership establishes Morocco as a key platform for IAG7’s expansion into North and West Africa markets. The alliance is expected to increase client flow between Spain and Morocco while introducing new tourism business lines in the North African kingdom.

Both companies view the collaboration as positioning them to capitalize on Morocco’s growing tourism sector and its role as a strategic hub for Euro-African business exchanges.
