Rabat – Royal Air Maroc (RAM) announced today that its flights from and to Doha are canceled through March 15, citing the situation in the Middle East.

“Our teams remain fully mobilized and continue to closely monitor the situation to ensure a safe resumption of operations as soon as conditions allow,” Royal Air Maroc said.

The airline also urged passengers whose flights were canceled not to go to the airport and to contact their original point of sale to check available options.

“We strongly encourage all passengers to check the status of their flight and to update their contact information via the ‘Manage My Booking’ section of the Royal Air Maroc website.”

The airline is part of networks of carriers that have been canceling flights since last week, when Israel and the US attacked Iran – with the latter also launching a retaliation campaign.

Concerns have been mounting over the situation in the Middle East, as officials acknowledge the crisis could continue for months.

Trump recently remarked that the war in Iran could go four to five weeks, but also “far longer.” UK Minister for the Middle East told this country’s MPs that the situation is “evolving.”

“There are indications that this is a crisis, not of days, but of weeks and possibly months.”

The US-Israeli attacks against Iran have killed at least 1,230 people, including 175 schoolgirls and staff, during a missile strike on a school in Minab.

On its side, Israel reported that 11 people were killed in an Iranian missile strike on March 1.

The US reported six US service members were killed, while Lebanon said at least 77 people were killed by Israeli attacks since Monday.

Al Jazeera’s data showed that Bahrain reported one person killed after a fire broke out in an industrial city following a missile interception, while Kuwait reported four people were killed in an Iranian attack.

Oman said one person was killed after a projectile hit a product tanker off its coast, while the UAE announced three people were killed in Iran’s attacks.
