According to the newest edition of L’Équipe on salaries in Ligue 1, Achraf Hakimi is the third most valuable player in the league with a salary of €1.1 million per month. This spot is shared with his Paris Saint-Germain teammate, Lucas Hernández.
Moroccan international Nayef Aguerd, the center-back for Olympique de Marseille, is in 21st place with a salary of €400,000 per month. Sofiane Diop, the left winger for Nice, is in 23rd place with €350,000.
Hakimi’s market value history
Hakimi started his journey as a professional player with Real Madrid Castilla with a market value of only €250,000. He later reached €60 million with the German club Borussia Dortmund before joining the Italian club Inter Milan on July 2, 2020, in a deal worth €40 million plus €5 million in add-ons.

Hakimi is currently the most valuable right-back in the world, followed by the Netherlands’ Jurriën Timber, who has a market value of €70 million according to Transfermarkt.
