The BAL’s second conference of the 2026 season will take place in the Moroccan capital from April 24 to May 3 at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex, where the continent’s top basketball clubs will compete.

Star-studded Moroccan lineup

Rabat will host the Sahara Conference, the second stage of BAL’s sixth season. For the Rabat part of the competition, the league has chosen a strong lineup of Moroccan artists. The halftime and opening-night performances will feature:

  • H-Kayne – April 24 (opening night)

  • La Fouine – April 26
  • ElGrande Toto – May 3 (final)

According to the latest BAL announcement, H-Kayne will launch the festivities on opening night, while ElGrande Toto, one of Morocco’s biggest rap names, will headline the closing night of the Sahara Conference.

FUS Rabat carries Moroccan hopes for BAL 2026

The tournament returns to Morocco after previous successful editions in the capital. The conference runs from April 24 to May 3, before the playoffs and finals move to Kigali, Rwanda, later in May.

The Rabat stage will also put the spotlight on FUS Rabat, the only Moroccan representative in the competition.

Fresh off its domestic title, FUS automatically qualified for BAL 2026 and will carry home hopes in front of local fans.

The Moroccan side starts its campaign against JCA Kings of Côte d’Ivoire on April 24, before facing clubs from Nigeria, Senegal, Tunisia, and Egypt over the course of the conference.
