Rabat – Morocco will experience generally stable and spring-like weather in the coming days, with temperatures expected to rise, especially in the south and inland areas.

The Moroccan Directorate General of Meteorology (DGM) said local weather conditions, such as low clouds, fog, and some unstable cloud formations over mountainous areas, will continue, despite the overall calm pattern.

Most regions will see stable weather on Wednesday, while colder conditions are expected in the Atlas Mountains and high plateaus, particularly during the night and early morning.

Low clouds and fog may form overnight, with light drizzle possible in parts of the northern and central Atlantic plains, as well as northwest of the southern provinces.

Daytime temperatures will rise slightly, bringing moderate to relatively hot weather in the south and the Souss region. Strong winds are also expected in the eastern parts of the southern provinces, with possible dust.

Temperatures will range between 12°C and 17°C in the Atlas Mountains, 17°C to 23°C in the Rif, Saiss, the Oriental region, and coastal areas, 31°C to 37°C in Souss and the southern provinces, and 24°C  to 31°C in other areas.

Stable weather will continue on Thursday, with a further increase in temperatures, especially in Souss and the south where conditions will become relatively hot. Fog and low clouds are expected in the morning and at night, with possible light drizzle in coastal and northern areas. Unstable clouds may develop over the High and Middle Atlas in the afternoon. Winds will remain relatively strong in the far south, with local sandstorms.

By Friday, unstable clouds will persist over the Atlas Mountains, while other regions remain mostly stable. Fog and low clouds will continue along the Atlantic coast during the morning and night. Winds will stay strong in the south, with local dust, and temperatures will rise slightly during the day.

From Saturday into mid-next week, similar conditions are expected. Coastal areas will continue to see morning and night fog, while unstable clouds form over the Atlas. Strong winds and occasional sandstorms will affect the south, with a gradual and noticeable increase in daytime temperatures across most of the country.
