Rabat –  Barcelona are considering their attacking options ahead of the summer transfer window, with Moroccan winger Abde Ezzalzouli emerging as a possible alternative if the club fails to secure Marcus Rashford.

Spanish daily AS reports that Rashford remains Barcelona’s first choice to strengthen the left side of their attack.

However, doubts about his recent form and the financial scale of the deal have led the Catalan club to prepare contingency plans. Among the names is Ezzalzouli, who has impressed this season with Real Betis.

The 24‑year‑old has developed into one of Betis’s best players, showing pace, creativity, and versatility on the wing.

His ability to operate on the left flank positions him a natural fit for Barcelona’s system, especially alongside talents like Lamine Yamal and Raphinha.

Club officials see him as a cost‑effective option who can bring depth and energy to the squad.

Barcelona’s sporting department remains cautious in the market, aware that negotiations for Rashford could stall.

As a result, they are monitoring several profiles to ensure the team’s attacking line is reinforced for next season. Ezzalzouli’s progress at Betis has placed him near the top of that list.

The Moroccan international previously played for Barcelona’s first team, making 14 appearances before moving to Betis in 2023.

His current campaign has been his most productive yet, with 11 goals and 10 assists across 34 matches in all competitions. Those numbers show his growth and potential to contribute at a higher level.
