Rabat – After more than 40 days without a match, a long wait is finally coming to an end for Raja Casablanca this Sunday at 6 p.m, with the club facing FUS Rabat at a packed Stade Mohammed V. Tickets already sold out 3 days before the match

Sunday’s match comes at a key moment in Raja’s season, who are expecting AS FAR next week on the 30th. The two games will most likely determine the direction of the title race. Despite having opportunities to extend their lead, Raja’s direct rivals dropped points in several matches. Now AS FAR edged one point ahead, leaving everything still to play for.

In terms of recent form, Raja had a good run before their inactivity, defeating Hassania Agadir 1-0 and Olympic Safi 2-0 at home. FUS also come into the match on a positive run, winning against a struggling Union Yacoub El Mansour 3-1 and Wydad Casablanca 1-0. The most recent meeting between the two sides ended in a 2-0 victory for Raja, with goals from Abdellah Khafifi and Adam Ennaffati.

Ennaffati, who recently got back from injury, returns at the perfect moment as the team needs him to be the difference-maker. He’ll be expected to find his rhythm quickly and deliver in this decisive time of the season.

Still, one question remains: After more than a month without a competitive game, will Raja put in a performance or fall short to endurance?. And against a FUS side capable of turning tables, any lack of concentration will lead to a disaster.

In a season full of surprises, everything can still change. And for Raja Casablanca, the next few days will decide it all.
