Rabat – Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique has made a bold statement before his side’s Champions League semi-final against Bayern Munich, insisting that no team in Europe is stronger than PSG right now.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference today, Enrique was asked whether PSG belongs among the continent’s elite clubs.

He replied that such judgments are for journalists, but stressed that his team’s performances over the past three years prove their quality. “We enjoy what we do, and I think it is well deserved,” he said.

Enrique acknowledged Bayern Munich and Arsenal as the two most consistent teams in Europe this season.

He noted that Bayern’s record of only two defeats highlights their stability, while Arsenal have also impressed domestically and in Europe.

Still, he underlined that when it comes to what PSG deliver on the pitch, he sees no side superior to his own. “From what we show on the field, there is no team better than us,” he said.

The Spanish coach’s remarks set the tone for a high-stakes encounter at the Parc des Princes. PSG will host Bayern on Tuesday evening in the first leg of the semifinal, with kickoff scheduled for 8 p.m. local time (GMT+1).

The match is expected to draw global attention, as two of Europe’s most powerful clubs face off for a place in the final.

PSG and Bayern are arguably among the best in Europe. PSG have dominated domestically and in Europe, winning eight of their ten Champions League matches and scoring 27 goals while conceding only eight.

Bayern, meanwhile, have lost just twice in all competitions this season, recording 26 wins and 4 draws in 31 games and averaging more than three goals per match.

Both teams have scored in every Champions League game, showing their attacking power and consistency.
