Rabat – Paris Saint‑Germain’s thrilling 5‑4 win over Bayern Munich in the Champions League semi‑final first leg was marked not only by goals and drama but also by concern for Moroccan star Achraf Hakimi.

The match at Parc des Princes kept fans on edge until the final minutes, with PSG edging Bayern in one of the most memorable European nights of the season.

Amid the celebrations, Hakimi suffered a muscle injury to his right hamstring late in the game, forcing him off and ruling him out of the upcoming second leg in Munich.

Despite the setback, Hakimi quickly turned his attention to his recovery. In a message posted on Instagram yesterday, he wrote: “I did it… and I will do it again.”

The short but powerful statement reflected his determination to overcome the injury and return stronger. His words resonated with supporters, underlining his commitment to the team even in difficult moments.

Hakimi’s absence is a major blow for PSG. The full‑back has been one of the side’s most consistent performers this season, combining defensive solidity with attacking runs that often change the rhythm of matches.

His energy and creativity on the right flank have been crucial in big games, and losing him for the second leg leaves coach Luis Enrique with a tactical challenge.

Options to cover Hakimi’s role include shifting Warren Zaïre‑Emery into a more defensive position or adjusting the formation to balance the team’s shape. PSG’s depth will be tested, with Bayern expected to push hard at home to overturn the first‑leg deficit.
