Rabat – Wydad Athletic Club parted ways with its former coach Patrice Carteron, after yesterday’s loss against US Yacoub El Mansour with 2-1.
The clash was held at Mohammed V stadium in Casablanca Morocco for the 17th round of the national championship of Botola Pro first division.
According to SNRTnews, the club has officially dismissed the French manager by mutual consent this morning, and he will be replaced by Mohammed Bencherifa, the one who is currently gathering the technical staff that will accompany him in his tasks.
The mutual agreement of dismissing Carteron came after the null results that accompanied him during his coaching period in Wydad AC. The defeat against Fath Union Sport (FUS), Maghreb fez (MAS), US Yacoub El Mansour (USYM), as well as the draw against Difaâ Hassani El Jadidi (DHJ), and KAC Marrakech (KACM) all marked his era as a head coach.
Patrice Carteron has yet to taste victory since being appointed Wydad head coach in five games.
