Rabat -The excitement surrounding AS FAR’s CAF Champions League final has reached extraordinary levels, with ticket demand exploding just hours after sales officially opened.

According to reports from El Botola, the first batch of tickets for the second leg against Mamelodi Sundowns sold out in less than four hours.

The numbers behind the demand were staggering.

At one point, 676,841 supporters were reportedly waiting in the online queue on the official ticketing platform, a huge figure for a single club match in Moroccan football.

The return leg of the CAF Champions League final will take place on May 24 at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, a venue capable of holding more than 68,000 spectators. Even with that capacity, demand has already far exceeded available seats.

Ticket prices ranged from MAD 60 to 2000

AS FAR has released several pricing categories for fans depending on seating areas and hospitality access.

Standard tickets started at MAD 60, and premium hospitality and skybox options reached MAD 2000 per person.

The club clearly expected strong demand, but the scale of the response has shown just how much anticipation surrounds this final in Rabat.

This will be one of the biggest continental nights in AS FAR’s recent history.

The atmosphere around the club has continued to build since AS FAR secured qualification for the final.

The first leg against Sundowns is scheduled for May 17 in Pretoria before the decisive return match in Morocco a week later.

Huge crowds were already seen earlier in the competition during the semi-final against RS Berkane, where more than 40,000 tickets were sold on the opening day alone.

This time, however, the demand has gone to another level entirely. For many fans, this final is a chance to witness one of the most important nights in the club’s history and potentially one of the biggest moments for Moroccan club football in recent years.
