Wydad Athletic Club announced on Wednesday the success of the surgery undergone by its star Hakim Ziyech, confirming that the player is currently under close monitoring by the medical staff to complete the recovery phase in the best conditions.
The club explained in an official statement that Ziyech began his recovery period immediately after the operation. It noted that all updates regarding the rehabilitation program, and the date of his return to action, will be revealed later.
Wydad is expected to be without its playmaker for some time, although no official information has been released regarding the duration of his absence. This means Ziyech will definitely miss the upcoming clash against Fath Union Sport.
