Rabat – Opta Analyst again predicts Morocco has the upper hand in tonight’s game against Haiti as part of the World Cup’s Group C.

The website’s supercomputer sees Morocco having an 81% chance of winning tonight’s game, compared to just a 6.8% chance for Haiti.

Opta sees Haiti as having “little margin for error with a mere 6.8% chance of victory, but with a draw standing at a 12.3% likelihood, Les Grenadiers will do all they can to create history and avoid a sixth straight World Cup defeat.”

And yes, that is exactly what Haiti coach Sébastien Migné is determined to do.

“Haiti wants to end the tournament honorably and give the Haitian people some hope and pride,” Migné said ahead of the match.

He added that his players are expected to maintain their commitment and battle until the final whistle.

Opta analysts see this as only a small hope for Haiti, as the supercomputer says that from 25,000 pre-match simulations, Morocco emerged victorious in 81% of the outcomes.

The national team started a strong campaign, with a huge reputation built from its 2022 World Cup run in Qatar — when Morocco made history by becoming the first Arab and African nation to reach the semifinals of the tournament.

During their first two games against Brazil and Scotland in the World Cup 2026, Morocco showed the world that their performance in Qatar was no coincidence.

New additions have brought even more attention and respect to the national team, including young talents such as Ayyoub Bouaddi, who, at just 18 years old, has been making headlines around the world.

Reports also indicate that the Atlas Lions midfielder is attracting interest from elite clubs, but he remains fully focused on his World Cup campaign with Morocco.
