Rabat – Moroccan-Belgian kickboxing talent Ambar Tesoudali successfully passed one of the biggest tests of her young career by claiming an impressive victory at Colosseum Tournament #50 in Suceava, Romania.
The 14-year-old defeated Romanian fighter Alexia Lupu after a strong performance in front of her home crowd. The victory came just days after Tesoudali described the event as one of the toughest challenges of her career.
Competing outdoors in temperatures of around 30°C, Tesoudali showed composure and determination throughout the fight. The tournament marked another major milestone, as it was the first time she competed without headgear under international kickboxing rules.
Another key factor in her success was the guidance of undefeated professional kickboxer Cheyenne Aldus, who stood in Tesoudali’s corner throughout the event and helped her navigate the demanding contest.
Several well-known figures from the kickboxing world attended the tournament, including Semmy Schilt, Nick Hemmers, Jeremy, and Figil, all of whom witnessed the young Belgian-Moroccan’s performance.
Following her victory, Tesoudali thanked Aldus, her coaches, and everyone who helped prepare her for the competition.
“I don’t need to mention names. My whole team knows who they are. This victory belongs to all of them,” she said.
Before traveling to Romania, Tesoudali’s father and manager, Nassim Tesoudali, described the fight as one of the biggest challenges of her young career. He also said her journey represents discipline, perseverance, international ambition, and a positive image of young Moroccans living abroad.
The victory further strengthens Tesoudali’s growing international profile. While proudly representing her Moroccan and Belgian roots, she continues to establish herself as one of the most promising young talents in kickboxing.
Away from the ring, Tesoudali is also involved in charitable initiatives that support vulnerable children in Morocco.
Following her success in Romania, the young fighter will enjoy a short summer break before returning to training for the next stage of her promising career.
