Rabat – Al Hilal has not given up on signing Barcelona winger Raphinha, according to Mundo Deportivo. The Saudi club still sees the Brazilian as the main target for the summer transfer window, despite the player’s desire to remain at Barcelona.
According to the same ssource, Al Hilal is ready to offer around €80 million to sign the 29-year-old. The club is also ready to increase his salary significantly. Reports say Raphinha could earn up to four times more than his current wages at Barcelona if he accepts the move.
The Saudi side, backed by the country’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), has been investing heavily to bring top international stars to the Saudi Pro League. Raphinha remains one of its biggest transfer targets.
The Brazilian is currently recovering from a right hamstring injury he suffered during the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The injury limited him to playing only the first two matches of the tournament. He is expected to be fit in time for Barcelona’s preseason.
Raphinha is under contract with Barcelona until 2028. Coach Hansi Flick also considers him an important player and includes him in his long-term plans.
For now, Raphinha’s priority is to stay at Barcelona. However, Al Hilal is expected to continue its efforts to convince the Brazilian to make the move to Saudi Arabia.
