Meknes – Al-Qadsia SC have strengthened their attacking options ahead of the upcoming season, officially completing the signing of Moroccan striker Hamza Khabba on Sunday.
The forward arrives from the Botola Pro side, AS FAR, in a permanent summer transfer aimed at boosting the Kuwaiti club’s lineup.
“Qadsia Club has signed Moroccan striker Hamza Khaba to represent the first-team football squad,” the Club wrote on X.
This move marks Khabba’s second stint in the Kuwaiti league, having previously played for Al-Arabi SC during the 2024–2025 season before returning to Morocco to join AS FAR last summer.
The 30-year-old’s time with AS FAR lasted just a single season before Al-Qadsia secured his signature, prompting a swift return to Kuwait, where the striker looks to start the next chapter of his career.
During his single-season stint with the Rabat-based club, Khabba made 22 appearances for AS FAR in the Botola Pro, finding the back of the net twice and providing one assist.
The Moroccan forward primarily served as a reliable option in the team’s attacking options, contributing to their domestic campaign before sealing his summer transfer back to the Kuwaiti league.
The Moroccan striker is already a proven goalscorer in the Kuwait Premier League. During his impressive 2024-2025 campaign with Al-Qadsia’s fierce rivals, Al-Arabi SC, Khabba was a crucial offensive option, racking up 12 goals in just 8 league appearances.
Al-Qadsia SC finished the 2025-26 Kuwaiti Premier League season in third place during the Championship Group play-offs.
They finished tied on 39 points with their rivals Al-Arabi SC, who took second place via goal difference, while Al-Kuwait SC comfortably secured the league title.
