Rabat – The Tunisian Football Federation (FTF) has officially announced the appointment of Moïne Chaâbani as the new head coach of the Tunisia national team on a four-year contract.
Chaâbani returns to lead the Eagles of Carthage after establishing himself as one of Tunisia’s most accomplished coaches at club level.
The 45-year-old has enjoyed successful spells with several teams, winning domestic league titles and continental honors during his managerial career.
His appointment marks the beginning of a new chapter for the national team as Tunisia looks to build a competitive squad for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations and the 2030 FIFA World Cup qualification campaign.
The Tunisian Football Federation expressed confidence in Chaâbani’s ability to guide the national team over the next four years, with the long-term deal reflecting its commitment to stability and sustained development.
Chaâbani is one of Tunisia’s most successful coaches in recent years. He rose to prominence after leading Espérance de Tunis to consecutive CAF Champions League titles in 2018 and 2019, while also winning multiple domestic trophies.
He has since managed clubs in Egypt, Morocco, and Oman, earning a reputation for his tactical discipline and success in continental competitions.
