Rabat – Morocco and Real Madrid forward Brahim Diaz has married his longtime partner, Spanish entrepreneur and content creator Luz Méndez.
The couple celebrated their wedding on Sunday, August 2, sharing photographs from the occasion on social media.
The images showed Diaz and Méndez in wedding attire as they marked the beginning of a new chapter in their relationship.
The ceremony came shortly before Diaz’s 27th birthday on Monday. The Moroccan international was born in Malaga on August 3, 1999.
Neither the precise location of the wedding nor a full guest list had been publicly disclosed at the time of writing.
Diaz and Mendez had announced their engagement in May, shortly before the footballer joined Morocco for the 2026 World Cup.
Mendez shared a photograph displaying her engagement ring alongside Diaz and wrote that they would remain “together forever.”
Díaz enters married life while preparing for another important season in the Spanish capital.
Real Madrid’s official profile lists him as part of the first-team squad after he made 42 appearances across all competitions during the 2025-2026 campaign, scoring twice and providing five assists.
The attacking midfielder began his senior career at Manchester City before joining Real Madrid in January 2019.
He later spent three seasons on loan at AC Milan, winning the Serie A title in 2022, and returned to Madrid in 2023.
Internationally, Diaz has represented Morocco since 2024 after previously appearing once for Spain. He has since become one of the Atlas Lions’ most prominent attacking players.
The wedding therefore concludes a memorable summer for Díaz, combining an important personal milestone with preparations for the next stage of his career for Real Madrid and Morocco.
