Casablanca – Raja Casablanca are pushing to wrap up the signing of Ittihad Touarga forward Younes Dahmani during the current summer transfer window, the proposed deal also including a number of benefits for the Rabat-based club.
Ittihad Touarga’s management are in no rush to decide Dahmani’s future, especially with interest from abroad, most notably from Sudanese side Al Hilal.
According to Ittihad Touarga administrative director Abdelmoula El Khenfari, the club has already received three official offers for Younes Dahmani during the current summer transfer window. He added that several other clubs, including sides from Europe and Egypt, have also expressed interest.
Raja hopes to seal the deal by next week at the latest so the forward can join the club’s travelling squad for its trip to Spain, where they are set to face Valencia in mid-August.
Interest in Dahmani follows his impressive spell with Ittihad Touarga. The forward made 31 Botola Pro appearances last season, scoring 11 goals and providing three assists to establish himself as one of the league’s standout attacking players.
